Atif Baqai, MD, FACS, RPVI is Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery for the Illinois market at Advocate Medical Group. He serves as Associate Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General and Vascular Surgery.

 

Dr. Baqai completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He maintains hospital affiliations with Advocate Condell, Good Samaritan, Illinois Masonic, and Lutheran General Hospitals, where he is actively involved in advanced vascular care, education, and leadership.
