This presentation addresses the pain complaints that many patients present with from a biomechanical and physiological perspective. In addition to compromised biomechanics, failure to address chronic inflammation may prolong or delay the response to care. We will discuss the most common biomechanical and postural imbalances as well as the causes of chronic inflammation and explore ways to quantify the inflammatory response to provide effective treatment options.
