Sexual (and other) Harassment Prevention Training (2023 Renewal Requirement)


This course will cover many areas of workplace harassment, including sexual harassment prevention training. The purpose of harassment prevention training is to eliminate harassment in all its forms (e.g. harassment based upon a person’s membership in a protected class, i.e. sex, national origin, race, religion, color, age, disability, military/veteran status). This course will cover the ethics and laws that prohibit harassment in the workplace, what constitutes harassment, what an employee should do if they experience or witnesses harassment, reporting harassment at the place of employment and to outside government agencies, the consequences of engaging in conduct that constitutes harassment, protections afforded under the law to anyone who reports harassment to an employer or government agency (i.e. whistleblower protections), and the need for a harassment prevention policy.
